140802 Min Hyuk’s appa restaurant
The shop is located at Yeongdeungpo Station (its the same station you get off to get to Times Square). The station is situated on line 1.
Address: 5-2 Yeongdeungpodong 3(sam)-ga, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, South Korea (서울 영등포구 영등포동3가 5-2)
Directions: Get out from Exit 5 from Yeongdeungpo Station and you will face a road junction. (Shinsaegae shopping mall should be across the road on the left side)
Cross the road and keep to the right side (do not cross over to the side with Shinsaegae)
Keep walking straight down the street.
Keep walking down past Holly’s coffee, U-square and the pharmacy. Its about a 10 minute walk so do not turn in too early.
Turn right when you see a Roti Boy bread shop. You should be able to see the shop front once you turn right, hence don’t turn into the alley if you don’t see the shop front.
People mostly go there to eat the barbecue (they have grilled eel, pork galbi and beef galbi) They also have kyeranjjim (steamed egg) and naengmyeon (cold noodles). Price range is from 8,000KRW-10,000KRW for most dishes (for barbecue its about 10,000KRW per one person serving)
The grilled eel was interesting, there was a very chewy texture and it gets more addictive to eat with every bite.
Post it notes and pens are provided at the small ledge located at the massive post it wall so feel free to leave a post it when you go there. Don’t forget to check us out when you go there and try to spot our CNBMinhyuk stickers (:
